At a workshop titled “Unleash Your Side Hustle Potential” in Charlottetown, Samar Eneasyouny expressed how enlightening the experience was for her. She shared that as a newcomer to P.E.I., still in the early stages of exploring business opportunities, she is eager to establish her own venture in early childhood development and education, having been a dentist in Egypt. Her interest in this field grew after becoming a mother, observing her daughter’s learning process with the same dedication she had for her dental career.
Eneasyouny emphasized that many mothers, like herself, juggle parenting with personal passions and careers, often lacking time to acquire specific parenting knowledge. She sees her roles as a dentist and a mother as complementary aspects of her identity, aspiring to nurture and educate children into confident and well-developed individuals without giving up her dental career.
Another attendee, Cornel Lyatuu, entered the workshop with various side hustle ideas but left with a clear focus on starting a web design and development business, targeting small and medium enterprises in Charlottetown. His immediate goal is to launch the business and secure up to 10 clients within the coming months. Lyatuu highlighted a key takeaway from the session: the importance of not being deterred by the fear of failure, emphasizing that even if one venture doesn’t succeed, there are always other opportunities to explore.
Both Eneasyouny and Lyatuu echoed the sentiment that the workshop inspired them to strive for personal growth and improvement, with Lyatuu emphasizing the goal of continuous self-improvement beyond the workshop’s conclusion.
