Her preparation for this feat has been ongoing, with the Pan Pacific swimming championships serving as an initial gauge of her progress in the lead-up to the 2028 Games.

Arriving in California for the championships, McIntosh, who is on the brink of turning 20, expressed her excitement and anticipation for the upcoming Olympics. Reflecting on her flight over the iconic stadium, she described the moment as surreal, fueling her aspirations for the future.

Having already clinched three gold medals at the Paris Olympics, McIntosh has solidified her status as a standout in the swimming world.
