Eddie Hall destroys Mariusz Pudzianowski in just 30 SECONDS to win on MMA debut

Must read

Eddie Hall took just 30 seconds to brutally beat five-times World Strongest Man and KSW heavyweight star Marius Pudzianowski. The Beast hurt his Polish opponent with the very first punch before pouring a flurry of shots over the 48-year-old to claim a quick victory, though he has claimed to have broken his hand.

Hall came into the bout with no experience of elite mixed martial arts while Pudzianowski owned a record of 17-10 having entered the sport in 2009. The 37-year-old Hall carried a 30kg (4.72 stone) weight advantage coming into the fight, tipping the scales at 151.3 kg (23.8 stone).

The clash was set to last two four-minute rounds, with the length each set to work in Pudzianowski’s favour but Hall wasted little time in getting to work. The Staffordshire-born fighter cracked his opponent with his opening shot and Pudzianowski could do little but go for a takedown as the Brit poured down punches before throwing him off.

The novice went on to jump on the veteran and all’s hammering punches saw Pudzianowski turtle before the referee stepped in. The Beast was soon raising his hands in the air as his barrage was stopped.

“Shocked myself to be honest,” said Hall following the fight. “Mariusz is a formidable opponent, but like I said, I’ve got the hardest punch on the planet.”

Hall, who won World’s Strongest Man in 2017 and was the first person to complete a 500kg deadlift in 2016, has no aspirations of reaching the highest levels of MMA however. Instead he wants to take on other giants or introduce interesting stipulations into his bouts.

“If the rematch is there, I’ll take it,” he said. “I’ve got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That’s just not for me.

“I want to come and have fun. I want to fight my heroes. I want to fight the freaks of the world.”

In his first MMA outing, Hall defeated TikTok famous Neffati Brothers in a 2v1 one fight in the World Freak Fight League, in Blackburn. The fighter scored a knockout victory on that occasion too.

And Hall has previously suggested he would love to take on another pair of famous siblings. The Beast would be more than prepared to take on Jake and Logan Paul.

Jake Paul and Logan Paul, I’d love to get them in a cage together,” he said earlier this year. “I think it would be very uneven, 100 per cent [I would kick their a–], powerbomb, smack them straight across the jaw. That’s it.”
