London police are seeking assistance from the community to identify individuals involved in stealing vehicles parked in driveways in the southwestern part of the city. Surveillance footage obtained from residences in neighborhoods adjacent to Colonel Talbot Road and Southdale, as well as in proximity to Baseline and Southdale, and surrounding Wharncliffe and Commissioners, reveals a silver and a black vehicle dropping off a suspect. This individual is then seen allegedly stealing parked vehicles from residences, including three Toyota Highlanders and two Lexus vehicles taken overnight on November 2 and November 9. London police Sergeant Sandasha Bough has indicated that the thefts appear to be connected based on the suspect vehicles. Emphasizing the importance of vehicle security, Bough advises the public to keep their vehicle doors locked, park in well-lit areas, and safeguard their keys. Additionally, she highlights the availability of valuable tips on the London Police website under “Project Safe Auto.” Authorities are urging the public to be on the lookout for the silver vehicle and a black vehicle believed to be a Mercedes. Individuals with information are encouraged to contact London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Information can also be submitted anonymously through the Crime Stoppers website.
