Celebrity Big Brother star Michael Fabricant has addressed Mickey Rourke’s sudden exit from the reality show house in a social media post after he was the first star to be evicted from the show last week. Last night, ITV announced that Mickey had “agreed” to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house following a discussion with Big Brother “regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour”.
It was later revealed that that the Hollywood star was removed from the house after a disagreement between him and fellow housemate Chris Hughes led to behaviour and language that was deemed threatening and aggressive.
Now, former housemate Michael has spoken out about Mickey’s exit with a telling comment on social media. Taking to X to share the news of Mickey’s removal from the show, Michael wrote: “He wanted to leave on Day One,” alongside an exclamation mark emoji.
Since the show’s launch last Monday, The Wrestler’s Micky, 72, has been embroiled in a number of controversies – including his homophobia scandal that resulted in a formal warning from Big Brother earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Mickey was issued a stern warning from the show after telling JoJo Siwa that she “won’t be gay anymore” after a few days in the house with him, before telling other housemates: “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”
He then told the other stars that he needed “a fag” before gesturing to JoJo and saying: “I’m not talking to you.” He was quickly pulled up on his comments by Chris Hughes before being called in the diary room to receive a formal warning.Â
