CBC North’s program “The Trailbreaker” will be airing live from the Diavik diamond mine on Wednesday and Thursday. Host Shannon Scott will be engaging with mine personnel and management to discuss the upcoming closure of Diavik in the following year. The mine, situated approximately 300 kilometers north of Yellowknife, has been operational for over two decades and is scheduled to cease operations in 2026.
