Amanda Holden puts on jaw-dropping display in bold Britain’s Got Talent outfit

Must read

Britain’s Got Talent fans were left in awe as Amanda Holden stunned viewers just moments into the first live show of the series with her daring outfit.

Tonight, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli will watch and critique the first eight semi-finalists, fighting for a spot in the all important live final. The acts taking to the stage include Golden Buzzer acts Linda Mudzenda, The Blackouts and Vinnie McKee as well as controversial performer Auzzy Blood.

However, as the show began, all eyes were on Amanda and her sparkly silver mini dress. The 54-year-old stunned in the high neck mini dress, which she showed off as she danced to her seat on the panel. Amanda styled her hair in a high pony, as all attention was on the show stopping dress.

Viewers rushed to social media to share their opinions on the star’s outfit, as one penned:Stunning in sparkle,” as another wrote: “Perfect princess.” A third wrote: “Looking incredible!”

The judge was given a shock during the start of the first live shows, as she was told by Ant and Dec that she would be given control of the first Golden Buzzer of the semi-finals. It means that she will be the only judge with the power to put one act straight through to the semi-final tonight.

Amanda isn’t afraid to step out of the box with her fashion during the live shows, and has worn a number of show-stopping outfits in the past.

In July 2017, Amanda rocked a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress that became the most complained about TV moment of the year.

Joking about the ordeal after, Amanda said: “I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together… It’s all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It’s been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up.”

The star received 663 Ofcom complaints, as some found it an inappropriate outfit for a family show, however the TV regulator decided not to pursue an investigation.

Ofcom said the estimated £11,000 dress “had potential to offend some viewers during what is a family show,” however, added that the dress “would not have exceeded most viewers’ expectations.”
