Justin Bieber has issued a desperate plea as he shared an insight into the sad reality of his day-to-day life.
The Sorry singer, 31, has been in the spotlight for over a decade, having rose to fame when he was a teenager. He’s continued to attract attention in recent years, including over his personal life – with his marriage to Hailey, 28, with whom he shares an eight-month-old son, often making headlines.
Hailey and Justin, who got married in 2018, are no strangers to being photographed whilst out in public. Justin has now shared footage from their pespective, showing the reality of being confronted by flashing lights and photographers.
He shared the video with fans on Instagram this morning. Justin – who criticised paparazzi earlier this month in a separate incident, in which he said they didn’t “care about human beings” – wrote in the caption: “This has to stop.”
The footage, which was filmed from Justin’s perspective, shows him leaving a property to be greeted by paparazzi on the street. Flashes of light are seen as photos are taken of the Grammy Award winner and Hailey, who was with him.
As the couple are being directed towards a car parked nearby, someone, seemingly in their entourage, warns: “Watch out, guys. Watch out, watch out.” Justin is then heard saying amid the flashes: “Look at these guys, man!”
Moments later, someone urges: “Guys, can you back up please?” As photographers stand in front of the vehicle as Justin gets closer, someone appears to tell them: “Yo, watch out!” Justin appears to once again say: “Look at these guys.”
Hailey is briefly seen behind Justin as she gets into the car. An apparent member of their team then appears to shine a torch towards paparazzi before saying: “You guys done? Go ahead. Go, y’all good. Go!” There is tension as words are exchanged before Justin gets into the car as the video ends.
Justin’s post has amassed more than 250,000 likes on the platform in the few hours since it was first uploaded. He was met with supportive messages from fans in the comments section after showing his perspective in the video.
One person wrote: “Crazy how it looks like from his perspective.” Similarly, another follower reacted to the singer’s post: “Holy that’s so crazy from the person being photographed POV, the flashes are so intense.”
Sharing their thoughts, a third person said in a comment on the platform: “No one deserves to be chased and blinded by flashes just for existing. You’re a human being, not a product. Sending you peace and privacy, Justin.”
And someone else commented: “To think this has been happening to you since you were 13 is just absolutely insane..” Whilst one fan responded to the post: “Praying for you JB! This would be such a tough way to live everyday.”
