Regina authorities have apprehended three individuals linked to a fatal incident that occurred in the early hours of November 1st. At around 1 a.m. CST on that day, law enforcement responded to a residence on the 1000 block of 12th Avenue following reports. On arrival, they discovered a 19-year-old male victim with a gunshot injury, who was tragically pronounced deceased at the location.
In an update on Sunday, Regina police revealed that a 16-year-old male has been charged with second-degree murder, alongside accusations of unlawful firearm possession and non-compliance with a prior court directive. Additionally, a 44-year-old male was also taken into custody earlier in the day on a charge of being an accessory after the homicide.
Moreover, a 17-year-old female has been implicated in the crime, facing charges of accessory, possession of a stolen firearm, and unlawful possession of a weapon under a prohibition order. All three suspects are set to appear in court for the first time on Monday morning in Regina.
This incident marks the 11th homicide in Regina for the year 2025.
