American skier Mikaela Shiffrin showcased her dominance in the Alpine Ski World Cup slalom event in Finland, setting a high standard for the upcoming Olympic season. Shiffrin, 30 years old, outperformed her competitors by a significant margin, securing her ninth victory at Levi and marking her 102nd World Cup win.

On her 19th birthday, Albanian athlete Lara Colturi claimed the second spot, while young German skier Emma Aicher achieved her first career podium finish in a World Cup slalom event by securing third place.

Unfortunately, Canadian skiers Sarah Bennett, Kiki Alexander, Arianne Forget, Amelia Smart, and Ali Nullmeyer did not progress to the second run.
