The Winnipeg police reported that he entered the school, hid in a restroom, and grabbed a student, who managed to escape unharmed.
George, a registered sex offender since a previous conviction for sexual interference in 2023, was involved in a similar incident where he groped a young girl at a movie theatre. Police arrested him shortly after the incident, revealing his substance abuse issues dating back to childhood, including the use of solvents and methamphetamine.
During court proceedings, it was noted that George showed little remorse or understanding of the severity of his actions. He was found engaging in inappropriate behavior even within a police station. The judge emphasized the traumatic impact on the victim and her family and urged George to address his addiction issues.
As a registered sex offender, George violated his restrictions multiple times, being found in prohibited areas such as a park restroom and a high school.
