Prince Harry playfully mentioned in Toronto that he felt “pressured” to don a Los Angeles Dodgers hat during a recent World Series game against the Blue Jays. The Duke of Sussex, accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle, was spotted at Los Angeles’ Dodgers Stadium during Game 4 of the Fall Classic, both donning the home team’s cap. While visiting Sunnybrook Hospital’s veterans center in Toronto, the staff presented him with a Toronto Blue Jays hat as a gesture of goodwill. Prince Harry humorously remarked that he felt compelled to wear the Dodgers cap during the World Series, which ultimately ended with the Blue Jays’ defeat in Game 7.

During his time at the veterans center, Prince Harry was also gifted an army helmet adorned by residents and a book chronicling the narratives of centenarian veterans. This visit was part of his two-day trip to the city in anticipation of Remembrance Day. Notably, Prince Harry’s previous visit to Canada was in February when he participated in the Invictus Games in British Columbia. He and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, briefly resided in Canada before relocating to the United States in 2020.

In 2020, the couple declared their decision to step back from their roles as senior royals, later confirming that they would not resume their previous positions as working members of the Royal Family, as announced by Buckingham Palace the following year.
