Police in St. John’s are currently probing two mysterious deaths involving a 38-year-old man and a 53-year-old man discovered deceased in a residence in the Rabbittown neighborhood. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary swiftly reacted to a call on Aldershot Street at 9 a.m. NT on Monday, as reported by Const. Stephanie Myers. The bodies were taken out of the residence in the early afternoon, with officers in protective white Tyvek suits handling the removal.
Const. Myers mentioned that law enforcement will maintain a presence at the scene for an extended duration to secure the area while the investigative process unfolds. The RNC issued a plea for any information or video footage from the vicinity of Aldershot and surrounding streets dated December 1 between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Collaborating with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the police intend to delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Various units, including the criminal investigation division, forensic identification services, and operational patrol, are actively involved in the investigation.
