Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and her doubles teammate, Erin Routliffe from New Zealand, have decided to end their partnership on the court. The duo had a successful run in 2025, clinching three doubles titles at prestigious tournaments such as Stuttgart, Cincinnati, and the U.S. Open.

Reflecting on their journey, Dabrowski shared on Instagram, “Titles, tears, and triumphs. A whirlwind of emotions that took us by surprise. While our professional collaboration has come to a close, our friendship endures.”

Despite representing New Zealand in competitions, Routliffe also holds Canadian citizenship and had previously competed for the Canadian team. Dabrowski and Routliffe joined forces in 2023, securing their first Grand Slam victory at the U.S. Open that same year.

Although the formal announcement of their split was made recently, Dabrowski and Routliffe had started playing with different partners towards the end of the previous season. However, they reunited briefly for the WTA Finals before confirming their decision to part ways.
