Korean music sensation BTS is currently facing criticism from a portion of its fanbase following the presence of two of its members at a concert by controversial American artist Chris Brown in Toronto. J-Hope and RM were in attendance at one of Brown’s shows at Rogers Stadium, where Brown performed alongside Usher. BTS is set to hold their own performances at the same venue later this month.

Images shared on social media showed J-Hope and RM posing with Chris Brown at the event. The duo was also captured on video dancing and enjoying the concert. Chris Brown, known for his legal troubles, has a history of assault charges dating back to 2009, including a high-profile case involving singer Rihanna. He recently pleaded guilty to an assault charge in London.

The online response from BTS’s fanbase, known as ARMY, has been mixed. While some fans expressed disappointment in the members for associating with Brown, others defended their attendance at the concert. The debate highlighted differing views on separating an artist’s personal actions from their work.

Representatives for BTS have not provided any comments on the matter at this time.
