Fourth-ranked Felix Auger-Aliassime will lead the Canadian team in the upcoming second round of Davis Cup qualifiers to be held in Quebec City. Tennis Canada has announced that Auger-Aliassime will be joined by Gabriel Diallo from Montreal, Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ontario, and Duncan Chan from Markham, Ontario.
Canada, currently ranked 12th in the competition, is set to face sixth-ranked France in a best-of-five tie at the Videotron Centre. The victorious team will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup Finals scheduled for November.
In the previous round of qualifiers in February, Canada narrowly defeated Brazil 3-2, while France earned their spot in the second round by beating Slovakia 3-1.
