Some animals not only trample the greenhouses but also steal temperature sensors, hindering the research progress. Despite setbacks, Brehaut remains understanding, recognizing that animals are simply exploring their habitat. Other researchers, like Kaitlyn Gaynor from the University of British Columbia, have encountered similar challenges with animals disrupting research projects in different regions globally. While animals’ interference poses obstacles, researchers aim to minimize disruptions by reducing human scent on equipment and implementing camouflage techniques.
