The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at home for the 14th time in 15 years. The NBA unveiled the complete 2026-27 schedule, revealing that the Raptors will commence their campaign on October 21 against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto’s first away game will be against the Washington Wizards just two days later.
Among the notable matchups at home are consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, scheduled for November 15 and 17. Additionally, fans can look forward to a showdown with Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and a faceoff against Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.
January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, with a packed schedule of 17 games, including a six-game stretch at home. Moreover, the team is slated to play 15 back-to-back games during the season, with seven of them requiring no travel.
The NBA has already announced 80 of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two to be scheduled post the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament. However, the Raptors will not be part of the league’s prestigious Christmas Day lineup once again, having last played on December 25 in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
