Liam Hickey netted two goals as Canada secured a 3-1 victory against Czech Republic in the ongoing Para Cup hockey tournament held in Dawson Creek, B.C. Vincent Boily contributed another goal for the Canadian team, who maintained a perfect record of 2-0 following a dominant 7-0 win over China in the tournament opener the previous day. Vaclav Hecko managed to score the sole goal for the Czech team with just over six minutes remaining in the game. The first period concluded without any goals, but Boily broke the deadlock 2:10 into the second period. Hickey extended Canada’s lead nearly ten minutes later and completed his brace at 11:56 in the third period, putting Canada 3-0 ahead. The next fixture for Canada is against their rivals, the United States, scheduled for Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
