The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade took place in New York City, showcasing new balloons like Buzz Lightyear and Pac-Man alongside beloved floats such as Tom Turkey. The event, which began on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and concluded at Macy’s Herald Square store on 34th Street, featured 34 balloons, 28 floats, 11 marching bands, and various performers. Spectators enjoyed watching Stuart the Minion balloon soaring through the parade from balconies, while others witnessed the Mario balloon by Nintendo floating down the streets. Music artist Shaggy was among the 29 performers this year, seen on the Jennie-O float. The parade also featured the new balloon of Derpy Tiger from “KPop Demon Hunters” and the space ranger Buzz Lightyear balloon. Performers in colorful costumes with lime stars and pink pom-poms entertained the crowd, and the Labubu float from Pop Mart made its way down Sixth Avenue. Macy’s Santa Claus was spotted riding on Santa’s Sleigh, and the Spider-Man balloon by Marvel added to the festive atmosphere as it floated down the street.
