The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced on Monday that they are looking into a fresh sexual misconduct accusation against hip-hop icon Sean (Diddy) Combs, currently serving a four-year sentence for charges related to prostitution.
A male music producer and publicist alleged that during a 2020 photoshoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and instructed the accuser to participate, as per details from a police report cited by NBC News. The accuser, whose identity is withheld in the report, disclosed that he kept silent for years due to feeling ashamed but decided to report the incident to authorities in Largo, Fla., this September, following Combs’ conviction on other offenses.
Combs’s attorney has yet to respond to a request for comment regarding the recent claims. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed they received the official report from the Florida department on Friday and will commence an investigation into the allegations.
Additionally, the report describes an episode from March 2021 where the accuser alleges being blindfolded by two individuals before Combs entered the room and accused him of being a traitor, according to NBC.
Combs was found guilty in July for transporting his partners and male companions across the country for drug-induced sexual activities at various locations over an extended period. Nonetheless, he was cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that carried potential life imprisonment sentences.
His projected release date is May 2028, with the possibility of sentence reductions based on his participation in substance abuse programs and other prison initiatives.
