Melania Trump is set to give the world an insight into her life as a First Lady after landing her own behind-the-scenes Amazon documentary. Melania, 54, who is married to President Donald Trump, has been filming for her own TV show since November last year, just months before the project was publicly confirmed in January.
Those close to the filming of the documentary have done their best to remain tight-lipped over the ins and outs, but now a few details of the show has been revealed by an insider.
In a bid to unveil a different side to her than the perception held by the public, Melania is said to feel as though the documentary is the best tool for her to execute her plan.
Speaking to The Sun, a source claimed she wants people to know that she is a woman who “has ideas and wants to work on her own projects.”
They added: “She’s a private person, but she is very happy to be back on the spotlight in that project, and she thinks that doing a documentary is the best way to talk about herself and her life in a deep way.”
They continued: “In a deeper way than just public appearances or interviews.” The insider added: “She knows what she wants, and she is a boss, that is for sure.”
President Trump has also been closely involved with the filming process and will make an appearance in the documentary. So too is their son Barron Trump.
However, Melania has apparently made it clear that the TV programme is about her as the First Lady.
Another source who works for the streaming platform said President Trump has revealed a lot of “information about how life is in the White House,” and the “life of the First Lady.”
The source continued: “She shows us a lot of details of the White House life, about what she loves about her function and life, but also the role model she is for other women and her family.”
They added: “We are getting inside things about her life, how she sees herself in this powerful environment, but also how she is as a mother, and the love she has for Barron, the support she shows to him 24/7, being also a role model for him.”
According to production, Barron is proud that his mother is doing her own project outside of being Mrs Trump. According to reports, Amazon spent more than an eye-watering £30 million to licence the documentary, which is believed to air later this year.
The documentary is reportedly being led by producer Brett Ratner.
