JoJo Siwa and her partner Kath Ebbs have been seen back together for the first time since Jojo’s stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Last night, Kath nowhere to be seen when JoJo left the house in third place – opting to snub the friends and family reunion on camera.
However, it’s been reported that Kath did attend the ITV show, but asked to remain backstage to have her conversations with JoJo off air.
But now the pair reunited at the Big Brother wrap party last night with Kath sporting a black hoodie and JoJo in high spirits partying with her co-stars. Chris Hughes, Patsy Palmer, Ella Rae Wise and Daley Thompson were seen at the party alongside Jojo and Kath.
After calling Chris her new ‘friend for life’, the Love Island star stayed close to the US entertainer’s side throughout the night.
It comes after Kath stayed silent on social media following JoJo’s close friendship with Love Island star Chris. The pair have been seen cuddling and tickling each other’s backs in bed together – which has raised eyebrows with some viewers.
Fans were convinced Kath would be a no show after her social media silence. Kath previously defended JoJo after Mickey Rourke made homophobic comments about the Dance Moms star. Meanwhile, they last posted on both TikTok and Instagram on April 11.
Rumours began swirling after the 21-year-old Dance Moms alum appeared to grow close to Love Island star Chris Hughes, 32, during their time together in the Big Brother house, leading some viewers to question Jojo’s romantic intentions.
During her exit interview, JoJo gushed about her friendship with Chris, saying he was “more than a friend.”
“I’m so incredibly grateful for him. He’s helped me get through my hard times in the house but more importantly he’s helped me create my happiness in this house. He’s more than a friend, he’s just such a special guy, I’m so lucky. We had a lot of fun,” she said.
Throughout the early days of the show, Kath, 27, remained supportive and publicly defended Jojo and Chris’ relationship. However, she appeared ‘distant’ in recent days. Now, with Jojo out of the house, the couple has reunited.
After JoJo was placed third in Celebrity Big Brother, fans were quick to notice that her loved ones were absent from the audience during the finale. Addressing the speculation, Siwa’s mum Jessalynn took to TikTok and Instagram to reassure fans that Kath had come to see Jojo but away from the cameras. She wrote: “I can finally tell you all Kath is there in London with JoJo and they just didn’t want their reunion on camera – so it was private off camera.
“For those extra worried …I would have been there in a heartbeat but JoJo wanted her girlfriend there not her mommy. all good troops, all good, I promise 🙂 Love Dance Mom Jess.”
On thursday night’s show JoJo received an emotional letter from her mum, which included a message from her partner – but fans are convinced there was a hidden meaning. The note, read out by Chris Hughes, said: “The most important thing to tell you is a message from Kath because I know you really miss them the most. Kath’s keen to see you when you get out, inverted commas.'”.
“I’ve had so much fun with Kath while you were away, we’ve had lots of FaceTimes and she even came over my house to watch the launch show,” JoJo’s mum Jessalynn revealed. JoJo was then left in tears as she thought deeply into her message, later questioning why Kath hadn’t said she loved her.
