Virginia Giuffre dead: New details emerge about Prince Andrew accuser’s final moments

Must read

New details have emerged about Prince Andrew accuser Virginia Giuffre‘s final moments before she was found dead last night. The sex trafficking victim – who was one of the most outspoken accusers of sex offenders Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell – took her own life at her home in Australia, her family confirmed.

Ms Giuffre claimed the pair trafficked her when she was 17 and flew her around the world offering her up to powerful associates – allegedly including Prince Andrew, which the Duke of York has strenuously denied. A spokesperson for the Western Australia Police Force has now revealed some of the preliminary findings of their investigation, which give light into Ms Giuffre’s final hours.

Police revealed her tragic death was not currently being viewed as “suspicious” and said emergency services received a report of an unresponsive woman at 9:50pm local time on Friday night. Crews tried to administer lifesaving emergency first aid shortly after arriving at her home near Neergabby.

Cops added: “Police and St John WA attended and provided emergency first-aid. Sadly, the 41-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene. The death is being investigated by Major Crime detectives; early indication is the death is not suspicious.”

Family members and friends were spotted arriving at her million pound beachside mansion earlier today. A man holding a stack of cake boxes was seen entering the home as well as a woman wearing a dark hoodie.

Earlier, her family said in a statement: “It is with utterly broken hearts we announce Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”

Ms Giuffre’s last post on social media was a heartbreaking picture of her in hospital with injuries from a car crash. In the post, she claimed she only had four days to live.

The caption said: “This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can.

“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes.”

Ms Giuffre was born in Sacramento, California, but her family moved to Florida when she was four years old and she later got a job at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. She alleged that she was recruited by Maxwell while working as a locker room attendant.

Epstein died in prison in August 2019 while on trial for sex trafficking charges. Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 and received a 20-year sentence for conspiring with Epstein to sexually exploit minors.

Ms Giuffre also claimed that she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew on at least three occasions when she was 17, including once in London.

Prince Andrew has consistently denied these allegations. In 2022, he agreed to an out-of-court settlement with Ms Giuffre, which is believed to be worth £12million. It did not include an admission of guilt.
