How to apply for the new series of Big Brother as Jack P Shepherd wins celebrity version

Must read

If you think you have what it takes to be a legendary Big Brother housemate and take part in the ultimate social experiment, now is the time to apply. Applications for the 2025 series of the ITV reboot are now open.

Celebrity Big Brother came to an end earlier this evening, with Jack P Shepherd being crowned the winner. Fans of the show won’t have to wait too long to see co-hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best on our screens again, with the regular version for series planned to air in the summer.

“We want to hear from the UK’s most interesting, funny and stand-out characters from all walks of life,” the application page reads. “Clever tasks, nail-biting nominations and live evictions – have you got what it takes to be crowned the winner?”

Big Brother hopefuls looking to follow in the footsteps of winners Jordan Sangha and Ali Bromley need to fill out the application form here and include a recent picture of themselves alongside a short video clip.

Forensic psychologist Ali Bromley won Big Brother last year and became the first lesbian to win the show. Jordan Sangha was crowned the winner in 2023 – the first series to air on ITV after the format was axed by Channel 5 in 2018.

During his time in the Big Brother house, Jordan formed a relationship with housemate Henry Southan. They were questioned about the nature of their relationship throughout the series as fellow housemates watched their friendship blossom into a romance.

The pair, who finished first and third respectively, announced their split on Tuesday to shocked fans. In a post to his Instagram story, Henry wrote: “After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways.

“It’s incredibly sad, and we’re both hurting, but we know it’s the right step. We’re so grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us – thank you. Please give us some space as we figure things out privately.”

Jordan wrote in a separate post: “After many happy times, memories and precious experiences, Henry and I have parted ways. I wanted to thank everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers X.”

After the show finished in late 2023, Jordan posted a picture of him with Henry to his Instagram and wrote that he had “found a handsome, intelligent, and debonair fellow”.

In November 2024 the pair announced they would be hosting a podcast together called Club Sandwich. They also recently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother: Late And Live, the companion show to the main ITV1 series.
